.: Facilities Include: Central Heating, Full Scottish Breakfast, Completely Non-Smoking Environment, Children over 5 are welcome And We Are Open All Year Round.
.: Parking: Private parking spaces are available to guests on the courtyard at the rear of the house and also in the street at the front of the house.
.: Internet Access: We have a wireless LAN installed and as a result Broadband Internet Access is available for the use of guests. Unlimited access is available for a small fixed charge. Please enquire when checking in if access is required.
.: Deposits: A deposit is not required if the room is reserved in advance and credit card details are provided to secure the booking. No charge will be taken before arrival. If no credit card details are available then a small deposit may be required.
.: Reservations: All room charges to be paid on departure in full, - we accept cash, cheques, Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, and Mistra - Please note that all credit card payments carry a small surcharge. Bookings cannot be accepted from minors.
.: Cancellations: A small business is clearly affected by cancellations and as such we would ask for your understanding and consideration of our policy:
If a Guest requires to cancel a reservation for any reason they must notify the proprietors by telephone and confirm it in writing. The proprietors will then attempt to re-book the room but if unsuccessful the Guest will not be entitled to a refund of any deposit paid and the following will apply:
Cancellations 6 days prior to accommodation date - no additional charge will be made for the booking of the reserved period. However please note that we cannot return your deposit. (Nominal £10 charge levied for cancellations)
Cancellations 5 days or less before arrival - the Guest will be responsible for the full cost of the booking for the reserved period unless the proprietors find a substitute Guest, in which case a refund, less expenses and deposit, will be returned for the period booked.
.: Please Note: Earlier than scheduled departures are handled as a cancellation and the same policies apply.
.: Check-in: Check-in time is normally between 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Please understand that we are preparing for your arrival, and your room may not be available if you arrive before 4pm. If check in cannot be made between 4pm and 9pm guests are urged to telephone and let us know. With prior notice we will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, (but please note that on the day of arrival only) out of courtesy to other guests, no one will be admitted after 11pm.
.: Smoking: Strawberry Bank House is a non-smoking house and we do adhere strictly to our policy. A Surcharge of £100.00 will be applied is guests smoke within the house.
.: Children: We regret that Strawberry Bank House is not suitable for Children under 5 years old.
.: Pets: Unfortunately we are unable to accept any pets.
.: Breakages: The Guest will be responsible for the repair or replacement of any breakages, loss or damage and shall leave the room in a clean, neat and tidy condition.
.: No responsibility is accepted by the proprietors or any person living or working at Strawberry Bank House for any loss, damage or injury to person or property (including cars, accessories or contents) whilst within the confines of Strawberry Bank House or whilst the Guest or any member of his or her party is engaged in any activity, or any illness arising from any cause whatsoever.
