Lovely Place to Stay

Stayed here on business not long ago, absolutely lovely hostess, made me feel so welcome, even offered to make me sandwiches for my early morning starts. Will be back, love this place! Will recommend to everyone!

FANTASTIC!

..We arrived around 7pm to be greated by Gillian and John with warm smiles and helpfulness. We rented 3 rooms, 1 double and 2 singles. Each room was wonderfully appointed and the bathrooms lovely. John astutely asked us if we were hungry and recommended barleo, an excellent Italian restaurant. He even called and made reservations for us. Breakfast was wonderful! They have a delicious selection of cooked options, and 3 of us did enjoy them however i was delighted to enjoy the cold options. Location was ideal! Minutes from town and minutes from the train. We walked to both easily. We would recommend this b and b to any and all. Really a delightful stay.

Lovely B&B

“Stayed two nights at Strawberry Bank House. This is a lovely B & B with friendly hosts. Our room had a very large comfortable bed and the towels were extremely soft. Everything in the room was to a high standard. There were biscuits and chocolates left in the room each day and fresh milk was always available from the fridge in the utility room. The breakfasts were delicious, with a wide choice each morning. We will definitely stay here again when we are next holidaying in the area.”
